Ultra-wideband (UWB)
Ultra-wideband (UWB) is a radio technology that uses extremely large bandwidths – typically over 500 MHz – to transmit very short, low-energy pulses. This enables UWB to provide high-precision positioning, low susceptibility to interference and secure data transmission, as the signals are difficult to detect and jam. In intelligence, sensor and security applications, UWB is often used for high-resolution localisation, radar imaging and covert communication.
