Situational Awareness

Situational awareness refers to the awareness and understanding of the current situation in a specific environment, particularly with regard to relevant events, actors and their possible developments. It encompasses the collection (perception), understanding (analysis) and anticipation (prediction) of information in order to make informed decisions. In intelligence and security applications, it is crucial for identifying threats at an early stage and responding appropriately.
