Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPAs)

Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPAs) are long-range military or governmental aircraft specifically designed for extended surveillance, reconnaissance, and search missions over vast oceanic areas. Their primary responsibilities include maritime border security, counter-piracy and smuggling operations, anti-submarine warfare (ASW), shipping lane monitoring, and the coordination of wide-area Search and Rescue (SAR) missions. Acting as airborne reconnaissance hubs, MPAs are equipped with an extremely dense sensor suite (including high-performance radar, C-ESM/R-ESM suites, SATCOM, electro-optical/infrared systems, and sonobuoys), requiring their highly dynamic data streams to be flawlessly fused onto the operating consoles in both the cockpit and the mission cabin.
