The Federal Network Agency for Electricity, Gas, Telecommunications, Post and Railway is Germany's central infrastructure authority and promotes competition in the energy, telecommunications, postal and railroad markets. It ensures the efficiency of Germany's central lifelines and, as the consumer protection authority, also protects the interests of the people who use the networks.
The use of frequencies is strictly regulated in Germany. The Federal Network Agency checks whether the rules are being adhered to and constantly monitors the entire frequency spectrum. It uses sounding and measuring vehicles for this purpose. We are proud that it also relies on systems and solutions from PLATH.
