Jürgen Beck takes over as managing director of PLATH Solutions GmbH at its new location in Gilching near Munich.

Effective 1 August 2025, Jürgen Beck has taken over as managing director of PLATH Solutions GmbH and will thus establish and manage the new company location of the PLATH Business Division Systems & Integration.
Alongside Jürgen Beck, Gregor Zowierucha will be managing director of the new company based in Gilching in the Munich area. As managing director, Jürgen Beck will strategically develop the portfolio of PLATH Solutions GmbH in the areas of reconnaissance, electronic warfare and security-related systems and establish the new location.
With Jürgen Beck, PLATH gains a proven and experienced manager with comprehensive expertise at the interface of defence, digitalisation and industry. Most recently, as Head of the Cyber and Information Space (CIR) Department and Division at ESG (Hensoldt) in Fürstenfeldbruck, he was responsible for key strategic and operational issues in the field of digital defence. Prior to this, Jürgen Beck was Managing Director of an ESG subsidiary and also gained extensive practical industry experience at Frequentis and Collins Aerospace. He began his career as an officer, giving him a sound understanding of security policy, which makes him the ideal addition to the PLATH Group's management team.

PLATH launches agile spin-off in southern Germany
PLATH Solutions GmbH delivers sophisticated solutions quickly and precisely.
With the founding of PLATH Solutions GmbH in the Munich area, the independent system integrator PLATH from Hamburg is continuing its growth course and tapping into the southern German market. The new company complements the portfolio of the PLATH Group and positions itself as an agile unit for innovative projects in the field of security and defence.
‘With PLATH Solutions GmbH, we are specifically targeting customers with specific needs – where smart and independent technical integration is required,’ says Jürgen Beck, Managing Director of PLATH Solutions GmbH.
Gregor Zowierucha, CEO of PLATH Division Systems & Integration and Co-Managing Director of PLATH Solutions GmbH, adds: ‘We see PLATH Solutions as an enabler – for projects that need to be launched quickly but still have to meet the highest technical requirements. We think in terms of innovative solutions, not products.’
Unlike its internationally established sister companies within the group, PLATH Solutions sees itself as a technology-focused spin-off: keen to experiment, adaptable and deliberately lean. The focus is on projects in the field of defence and security – practical, feasible and market-oriented.
