Political study trip: Air Force NCO School visits PLATH
At the end of last week, we at PLATH had the pleasure of welcoming a group from the Air Force NCO School in Hamburg. The visit took place as part of a political education trip organised by the Hermann Ehlers Academy, which regularly runs programmes for members of the Bundeswehr.
During their stay of several days in Hamburg, the agenda included, alongside other items, an insight into PLATH’s work and technologies. The aim of the visit was to give the prospective non-commissioned officers a better understanding of the field of electronic warfare (EloKa) as well as current technological developments in signal-based reconnaissance.
The focus was on our portfolio and the question of how modern systems for signal acquisition and analysis are used to improve situational awareness and support decision-making processes. In addition to technical insights, the discussion also provided an opportunity for questions and discussions regarding practical application scenarios and future requirements.
Direct dialogue with the future users of our technologies is of particular importance to us. It helps us to better understand different perspectives and to continuously develop our solutions.
We would like to thank the Hermann Ehlers Academy for organising the event, as well as the group from the Air Force NCO School for their keen interest and open exchange.
